L’Interzoo 2008 a me personalmente è piaciuto molto.

I liked very much this Interzoo. The worst thing is about to have chosen to watch some stand instead of other, it’s incredible to think that’s impossible to see everything in only “two” days. So I and my friends, Zanna Bianca and Lumaz, have had to chose what we want to see better, and inside the exhibit we have gone around also with Pieme74, a MarcoAP ed a Mbenassi watching some stands all together. The trip was amazing, from our departure from Italy to our final collection of equipments and live rock at the end of exhibit. My photo-description is what we have saw inside Interzoo, to show you what we have seen, and what we have liked more.
I’ve just written about Elos here: Elos at Interzoo because was the stand where we spent more time, and where we find more new products.

Tunze stand, MarcoAP and Pieme74

Korallen Zucht stand

Aquatronica stand

H&S skimmer at H&S stand

English version 🙂

The first photos are taken at Sander stand, where Zanna Bianca shows us one big skimmer, and you can see some airstone inside a big bathtube. 😉

Our trip bring us to Sicce stand, where, other than beautiful stand, we have seen new circulating pumps, nice idea, but I think too small to a 100 gallons reef tank.
Sicce Stand

After Sicce stand we saw some tridacna, just in the back side…
Tridacne & tridacne

After turning back, we saw Eheim stand, with same wonderful pumps and amazing aquariums (more freshwater than reef one). We have spoken with Italy responsible, and we have asked for a better pump for our sump, more powerful than 1250 but less powerful than 1260… we have called it 1255 🙂 We’ll see what they’ll do, but he seemed interested, also because I show him preview of my software to calculate the real flow of pumps from sump to tank :-)and, I’ve bought a new pump for my sump, one Eheim compact plus 2000, with my software it’s two times more powerful than my old 1250, we’ll check it.
Eheim stand

From Eheim to another stand of great pumps… Tunze. In the photo we see MarcoAP in front of stand, and Pieme74 walking on the left.
Tunze stand, MarcoAP and Pieme74
Greater news was the showing of new nano stream pumps, BIGGER, they say to be energy saving, more directionals, different from usual shapes, and in my personal opinion… more ugly… The pics show you the big 6205.After we have saw the cooling fans… what a big price, they don’t do a great air flow… after 50cm… the flow is dead. It’s a pity, because they’re so amazing to watch. They have 2 usb ports, but man didn’t know why. And… on smaller wavebox… powerful, but I don’t like it… beacuse this type of movement feels me bad…We have asked to buy something, but discount price of 5% is driven us out…

Dennerle stand where we saw beautiful nano-aquariums 🙂

Than Prodac stand

And than Aquabee stand where there was the new pumps created to minimize vibrations with new impellers.

And Teco, Ocean Nutrition and Grotech stand, chiller noise-free from Teco, and some new products from Grotech

And than we saw the Mag Flip, what wonderful idea… mag to one side, and blade to the other… wa wanted to buy one but… they didn’t sell to us. 🙁 what a pity!

Aquamedic stand… less beautiful than other years, but with wonderful aquascape.

Aquamedic stand

And after that we saw Korallen Zucht stand, where I finally met Alexander Girz, and where we spent more and more time to watch sps…

Zanna Bianca and Lumaz … definitively lost…

Beautiful reef aquarium from Giesemann stand And… the Aquatronica stand! You know I like Aquatronica so much, I’ve bought some years ago, and I think it’s an amazing aquarium controller, and you can read my review here (only in italian for now): http://www.danireef.com/2007/05/16/laquarium-controller-di-aquatronica/We have spoken with Massimo Brandi that has explained to us the news of the system

Aquatronica stand
Massimo is in the photo ;-)The first thing we saw is new base unit… more stylish, amazing to watch… but with the same core of the last one. It’s so cool now :-)They’ve presented two long awaited news, T5 dimmer module and pumps dimmer module. This last one is only for Koralya pumps, for now… but it’s a beginning, I think. Also every modules are redesigned to a new better looking form.

Sunday morning we was to Limulus stand. You can see my italy review of this system here, but I’m writing in english too, I think a couple of days to finish it: http://www.danireef.com/2008/04/08/limulus/ There was many news in Limulus stand. We start with the new prototype of colors touch screen Aquasmart… resolution of 800×480… and I think the idea was also my idea… beacuse speaking with Roberto some weeks ago I told him I was using the system with my new Asus EEE PC, and… the same screen, the same wi.fi access is here… only coincidence? The good of the new system is wi.fi connections of every module. And the base unit has inside the wi.fi (it’s obvious, don’t you?) and gsm module. The power unit is wi.fi too, and is connectible to old (and new) DALI modules, soyou can use all the modules you’ve bought in the last months. The probes are connected to wi.fi interfaces, until 4 for interface, but directly, without having to buy other equipment.

Limulus stand

Then we spent a lot of time at SHG stand, italian company specialized on food for fishes. I used for many years their granular food, and also now I’m using their “premium marine”. We discussed about right food for fishes… very interesting!

And a quick look at H&S stand, where Lumaz has bought 32 kg of live rocks… at a very very very interesting price…
H&S skimmer at H&S stand

From H&S we walked until Dejong stand, where we saw amazing fishes, I think the most wonderful of this exhibit… from Centropyge interrupta to Holocanthus ciliaris until 3 Chatedon semilarvatus…

Dejong stand

And one new italian company, OceanLife, where we met the people and we have seen the wonderful Zeus… UPC with sinusoidal wave and graphic display… I love these things!

OceanLife stand

And the ending with Sfiligoi stand, where we saw the powerful HQi (until 1.000 watt), the led system with single projector for every led… and obviously the ACLS.

Sfiligoi stand

Our photo-trip is ended… I’m sorry to have not seem some stands… but the next Interzoo…
