Interzoo 2012: The Red Sea booth

Continuing in Hall 4, we also visited the stand Red Sea. What struck us most were undoubtedly the aquariums, modular, and complete, really well done.

They had shows three different sizes of aquariums, the largest of which was really nice also for animals contained.

Interzoo 2012: Lo stand Red Sea

Nel padiglione 4 abbiamo visitato anche lo stand Red Sea. Quello che ci ha più colpito sono stati senza dubbio gli acquari, componibili, completissimi e davvero ben fatti.

Erano in mostra tre acquari di tre misure differenti, di cui quello più grande era davvero bello anche per gli animali contenuti.

Diving in Red Sea, pictures and videos

Also this year we were in the beautiful Red Sea, and once again in Marsa Alam, how could you read the Report on Sol Y Mar Dar El Madina, where thanks to the superb diving Sea World and especially to the two guides that I was lucky once again to have by my side, Andrea Maffi and Roberto Piazza, I made some great diving.

This year, I had the new Canon S90, now superseded by the new S95 to tell the truth, with Canon housing and especially with the  external flash Sea & Sea Ys01 that, I have to admit it made a difference in most of the photos .

This video is a summary of all the best pictures I’ve done, horizontals, for video limitations I could not put vertical pictures. The video has been prepared in high definition, so enjoy it in full screen … it worth a while! Then I’ll look forward for your comments that forced me to share these beautiful photos.

Immersioni in Mar Rosso, Marsa Alam: foto e video

Anche quest’anno siamo stati nel bellissimo Mar Rosso, ed ancora una volta a Marsa Alam, come avete potuto leggere dal Reportage sul Sol Y Mar Dar El Madina, dove grazie al magnifico diving Sea World e soprattutto alle due guide che ho avuto la fortuna ancora una volta di avere al mio fianco, Andrea Maffi e Roberto Piazza, ho fatto delle splendide immersioni.

Quest’anno poi accanto a me c’era la nuova Canon S90, oramai soppiantata dalla nuova S95 a dire il vero, con lo scafandro Canon e soprattutto con il flash esterno Sea&Sea Ys01, che devo dire ha fatto la differenza nella maggior parte delle foto.

Questo video è un sunto di tutte le foto più belle che ho fatto, a patto che fossero orizzontali, visto che per limitazioni del video, non ho potuto inserire foto verticali. Il video è stato preparato in alta definizione, quindi divertitevi a vederlo a tutto schermo… merita! Aspetto poi con ansia i vostri commenti che sono la molla che mi spinge a fare e condividere queste bellissime foto.

Closed for Red Sea :)

It’s time now!

Tomorrow morning we’ll take the airplane to go to Red Sea… So my website will be without me for a while

This year we’ll go to Holiday Beach Resort, like the last year… and if you want to see the astounding pictures of the last year you can do here: Holiday Beach Resort

This winter I took the CMAS scuba brevet, so this year finally I can swim down & down so I have needed to buy another camera…

So I chose the new Olympus Fe-3010 with his water proof case PT-046.

You have only to wait to see the pictures and a complete review!

Also this year we have chosen the Red Sea for my family holiday, again Marsa Alam. But we have changed the Resort, from the wonderful Kahramana of the last year to the new Holiday Beach Resort of this year. Beacuse we prefer to look ahead instead of to repeat the same experience ever.

Thanks to my friend Lumaz, who spent his holiday with us, we have chosen, as said, the new Holiday Beach Resort driven by Inviaggi tour operator in Italy. For my family we have spent 2.200 euro, and my family is me, my wife Simona, and my two daughters of 4 an 2 years old, with “all inclusive” treatment, also if not so “all inclusive”.

The holiday was been great, the sea (the reef obviously) absolutely incredible, and I took 2500 pictures in only one week, and it was so difficult choosing only a few (about 250) to show you.

3) Il Cibo

Questo viaggio come scritto in apertura è il mio terzo viaggio in Egitto, ed il secondo sul Mar Rosso, e devo dire che è stato quello in cui ho mangiato meglio. Non voglio dire che si mangi come in Italia, perché poi queste mie parole possono essere male interpretate, ma il cibo che ho avuto la fortuna di mangiare (quasi tutto n.d.r.) è sempre stato gradevole al gusto, e devo fare un plauso al cuoco italiano che riusciva ogni giorno a farci mangiare qualcosa di altamente commestibile con le poche cose a disposizione. Certo ci sono da fare dei rilievi da fare, nel senso che il “buffet” non era troppo ampio e spesso e volentieri era necessario fare la fila prima di potersi cibare, andare a mangiare un po’ più tardi del solito aggirava il problema. Il nostro gruppo era composto da 7 persone, di cui 4 adulti e 3 bambini, abbiamo rilevato dei lievi problemi di stomaco che sono passati in qualche ora sia ad un adulto che ad un bimbo in mezzo alla settimana.

Da segnalare la pochezza di frutta presentata, siamo andati avanti a melone egiziano, quelle verde in genere molto buono e mele fino a metà settimana, poi solo melone… un po’ poco.

La cena in stile egiziano del giovedì invece è stata molto gradevole, forse, per ovvii motivi, la migliore della settimana.

Scocciante per quanto ampiamente pubblicizzato il fatto di poter disporre solo di bevande al bicchiere, e che qualsiasi extra, dalla spremuta di arancia, alle birre in bottiglia al caffè dovevano essere pagate a parte. Sui dispenser d’acqua campeggiava la scritta del divieto di riempirsi le bottiglie, il solito trucco era quello di portarsi al tavolo tanti bicchieri d’acqua e rifornire la propria bottiglia autonomamente. Sarebbe stato carino aver potuto accedere una formula all-inclusive offerta direttamente in resort al “modico” costo di 15 euro per persona al giorno, e che veniva dimostrata con un braccialetto. Noi fra birre, caffè e cene di pesce abbiamo sborsato 240 euro in 7 non male.

Devo segnalare che la cena di pesce offerta al modico prezzo di 15 euro cadauno, bambini esclusi, e prenotabile da Mohamed Hassn (mi ricordo il nome perché gli devo mandare la foto), è stata una ottima scelta, con cibo scevro da ogni salsina e solo cucinato alla griglia. Ottimo.
