At Interzoo 2026, one of the richest booths in terms of aquarium content was certainly the AquaForest booth. Not only because of the number of products on display, but above all because of the direction the company has taken: no longer only products for marine aquariums, no longer only supplementation and water-parameter management, but a true ecosystem that now includes reef aquariums, nano reefs, freshwater, ponds, ICP analysis and digital support.
In a trade fair that, as we wrote in our general editorial on Interzoo 2026, felt less spectacular than some previous editions, AquaForest brought a very dense booth, full of ideas and with some decidedly interesting technical innovations. Above all, the new All-In Skim, a protein skimmer that tries to integrate several functions that are normally separate into a single body.
AquaForest at Interzoo 2026 in short: the major new product is the new All-In Skim, a 4-in-1 protein skimmer with integrated protein skimmer, air filter, CO₂ scrubber and biological filter. Alongside this, we saw the new Nano Tank, reference solutions to check test reliability, pond products, freshwater innovations, freshwater-dedicated ICP and increasingly structured support through a digital ecosystem.
The video of AquaForest at Interzoo 2026
For this article we prepared a video dedicated to the AquaForest booth at Interzoo 2026. In just a few minutes we take you in front of the main new products seen in Nuremberg: the new All-In Skim, the Nano Tank, the solutions to check test reliability, the pond line and the innovations related to freshwater.
The video was created precisely as a support for this in-depth article: it is short, direct and allows you to see the products better inside the booth, especially in the case of the All-In Skim, where the innovation is not only aesthetic, but concerns the way AquaForest has tried to integrate several technical functions into a single system.
AquaForest All-In Skim: the skimmer becomes an integrated system
The most important new product seen at the AquaForest booth was undoubtedly the new All-In Skim. At first glance it may look simply like a new protein skimmer, but in reality the concept is broader. AquaForest presents it as a 4-in-1 filtration system, capable of combining in a single device a protein skimmer, air filter, CO₂ scrubber and biological filter.

The idea is interesting because it starts from a real problem: in modern marine aquariums, especially in more advanced reef systems, sump space is increasingly precious. Protein skimmer, reactors, sensors, dosing pumps, carbon filters, possible CO₂ scrubbers and other accessories often end up occupying every available centimeter. Integrating several functions into a single body can therefore make a lot of sense, if the project is done well.
In the case of the All-In Skim, AquaForest tries to make four different elements work together: classic skimming, air filtration, CO₂ reduction and a dedicated biological compartment. It is therefore not just a skimmer “with something extra”, but a product designed to act simultaneously on several aspects of aquarium stability.

CO₂ scrubber and pH: an increasingly central topic
One of the most interesting aspects of the new All-In Skim is the integration of the CO₂ scrubber. In recent years the topic of pH has strongly returned to the center of marine aquarium management, especially in very closed home aquariums, in well-insulated houses and in environments where indoor CO₂ can be high.
A more stable and generally higher pH, within correct values, can help coral growth and improve the overall stability of the system. We have also recently discussed this here: With low pH and strong light, corals do not grow and suffer. For this reason, more and more aquarists have started using external scrubbers connected to the skimmer air intake. With the All-In Skim, AquaForest brings this concept directly into the skimmer design.

The logic is clear: if the skimmer is one of the main points through which air enters the system, filtering that air and reducing its CO₂ content can become an important advantage. Naturally, as always, the duration of the filter media, the running cost and the actual performance in different aquariums will have to be evaluated in practice, but the technical concept is very interesting.
Air filter, carbon and odors: less CO₂, but also more comfort
Another element not to be underestimated is the part related to the air filter and odor management. AquaForest talks about air filtration and a carbon filter placed above the skimmer cup, designed to reduce unpleasant odors and improve the comfort of using an aquarium in a domestic environment.
It is a detail that may seem secondary, but it is not. Anyone who has a marine aquarium in the living room, in an office or in a frequently used room knows very well that the skimmer can be one of the main sources of odor, especially in heavily stocked systems or during certain management phases. Integrating a solution designed also for this aspect makes the product more complete and closer to real-life use.
Biological filtration and organic load control
In addition to skimming and air filtration, the All-In Skim also integrates a biological chamber. According to AquaForest, this compartment is designed to host bacterial colonies and increase the contact time between water and filter media, contributing to nutrient management and to the overall stability of the system.
Here we need to be very clear: we are not talking about a “magic” product that replaces correct aquarium management, parameter control or routine maintenance. However, the idea of combining skimming, air control, CO₂ reduction and biological support in a single body is consistent with a very current trend: simplifying the technical side without giving up control.
From a technical data point of view, AquaForest rates the All-In Skim 150 for aquariums up to 750 liters with a light load, up to 500 liters with a medium load and up to 300 liters with a heavy load. The pump is a Reeflow 2300, air intake reaches up to 620 l/h and declared power consumption is up to 28 W.

| Integrated functions | Protein skimmer, air filter, CO₂ scrubber, biological filter |
| Pump | Reeflow 2300 with controller |
| Air intake | up to 620 l/h |
| Power consumption | up to 28 W |

Pump, controller and more advanced management
A product of this type, of course, cannot be evaluated only for its mechanical part. Pump and controller management becomes fundamental. AquaForest talks about precise flow adjustment, programmable feeding mode, protections against dry running, overheating and malfunctions, as well as the possibility of interfacing with external controllers and float switches.
This is important because a modern skimmer must not only produce foam. It must be stable, adjustable, quiet, easy to maintain and possibly capable of adapting to the different moments of the aquarium. Feeding mode, for example, is an increasingly useful function because it allows the skimmer activity to be temporarily reduced during feeding, avoiding overflows and leaving more time for corals to intercept food.
AquaForest Nano Tank: a complete system to start
Alongside the skimmer, another very visible new product in the booth was the new AquaForest Nano Tank. It is a system designed for those who want to start with a compact marine aquarium, with a more guided approach and with many elements already integrated.

The concept, here too, is that of an ecosystem. Not just a glass tank, but a complete system in which AquaForest can offer the user products, method, starter materials, rear filtration and coordinated accessories. It is a very different approach from the past, when many companies simply sold the single product and left the aquarist the task of building the entire system around it.

For those approaching marine aquariums, this type of proposal can be very interesting, because it reduces the risk of choosing components that are not coherent with each other. Naturally, a nano reef is still a marine aquarium in every respect, and therefore requires attention, stability and consistency, but having a technical base already designed as a system can help a lot, especially in the initial phases.
AF Reference Solution: checking tests is not a detail
The presence of AF Reference Solution was also very interesting, a reference solution designed to verify test reliability. It is a product that, from our point of view, clearly reflects a maturation of the market: today it is no longer enough to measure, we also need to understand whether the instrument or test we are using is measuring correctly.

Anyone who manages a marine aquarium knows how much an incorrect reading can lead to wrong decisions: correcting a value that is actually already correct, dosing more than necessary, chasing numbers that do not truly represent the situation of the tank. A reference solution can therefore be very useful, especially for those who regularly use reagent tests, photometers or different instruments and want one more level of control.
AquaForest and freshwater: an increasingly important front
The AquaForest booth, however, was not only about marine aquariums. An important part was also dedicated to freshwater, with products, substrates, layouts and solutions designed for planted aquariums and aquascaping. It is a direction we have already seen growing in recent years and that now seems increasingly structured.

For AquaForest, this is an important step. The brand was born and is perceived by many aquarists mainly as a marine aquarium brand, but the expansion into freshwater allows it to reach a very broad audience: planted aquarium enthusiasts, aquascapers, stores and users looking for a coherent line of substrates, fertilization and aquarium management.
Freshwater ICP: when the laboratory moves beyond reef only
Among the most interesting things seen at the booth was also the reference to freshwater ICP. In marine aquariums, ICP analysis has now become a very well-known tool, especially for those managing reef tanks with hard corals, heavy supplementation and the need to monitor macro and trace elements.

Bringing this approach into freshwater means pushing toward more analytical management also for planted aquariums and more technical freshwater systems. Not everyone will need it, of course, but for very demanding aquariums, competition layouts, tanks with intensive fertilization or problems that are difficult to interpret, having a more complete reading can become a useful tool.
The Pond line: AquaForest also arrives in the pond world
Another interesting expansion is toward the pond world. AquaForest presented a line dedicated to ponds, with products designed for water management, control of the most common problems and maintenance of a more stable environment for fish and plants.

It is a step consistent with the company’s overall strategy. From marine to freshwater, from freshwater to ponds, AquaForest is trying to build different but recognizable lines, with a common logic: organized products, coherent packaging, technical support and an increasingly broad presence in the different segments of aquarium keeping and water gardening.
An increasingly broad AquaForest ecosystem
The feeling, leaving the booth, is that AquaForest is thinking less and less in terms of single products and more and more in terms of ecosystem. Marine, freshwater, pond, ICP, reference solutions, nano tank, digital support and technical products now seem to be parts of the same strategy.
This can be an advantage for the user, because it makes it possible to find products designed to work together and a more coherent management philosophy. But it is also a challenge: the more a brand expands its range, the more important it becomes to maintain clarity, ease of choice and adequate technical support. From this point of view, it will be interesting to see how AquaForest will accompany the launch and distribution of the new lines.
AquaForest and the people behind the brand
As always, Interzoo is not only about products. It is also an opportunity to meet the people behind the brands, talk directly with those who develop, present and explain the new products, and better understand the direction of the companies. At AquaForest too, we found a very open and helpful atmosphere, with the opportunity to explore in more depth the new products seen at the booth.

We thank the AquaForest team for the time they dedicated to us, for their willingness to explain the new products and for the welcome we received at the booth during the very intense days of Interzoo 2026. And for the wonderful evening to which they invited us. Thank you again AquaForest.
AquaForest will be at AcquariaItalia 2026
For those who want to explore live the new products seen at Interzoo 2026, AquaForest will also be present at AcquariaItalia 2026, the Italian aquarium fair that will take place at Malpensa Fiere. The company will be present with its own space inside the booth managed by Aquariatech, the official AquaForest distributor for Italy.
The presence will be particularly interesting because the participation of Seweryn Lucasiewicz, Vice President of Sales and Marketing as well as co-owner of AquaForest, and Dominika Bulka, Marketing Manager of the company, has already been confirmed. It will therefore not only be a matter of seeing the products on display, but also of being able to talk directly with some of the people involved in the international development of the brand.
The presence is planned both for the days open to the public and for the day dedicated to B2B, designed for retailers, distributors, companies and industry professionals. It will therefore be an important opportunity to see AquaForest products, innovations and solutions more closely, but also to speak directly with those who follow the brand on the Italian and international market.

What we think
The presence of AquaForest at Interzoo 2026 seemed to us one of the most complete seen at the fair. The new All-In Skim is certainly the most technical and interesting innovation, because it tries to integrate into a single product functions that many aquarists today manage with several separate devices: skimming, air filtration, CO₂ reduction and biological support.
But the most interesting thing, in our opinion, is the overall picture. AquaForest is becoming an increasingly transversal brand, capable of speaking to the advanced reefkeeper, the nano reef enthusiast, the aquascaper, those who manage ponds and those who want more advanced control tools. It is an ambitious strategy, which works if it remains accompanied by clear products, technical support and real usefulness for the aquarist.
In the end, this is the feeling we brought home from the booth: AquaForest did not only present new products, but showed a direction. And in an Interzoo where many companies chose a more cautious approach, seeing such a rich and articulated booth certainly pleased us.
