Ecotech Marine shows Radeon, the new led lighting.
With a minimal design, it measures only 11.8 inches x 7 inches x 1.5 inches.
The lighting design is very simple with leds placed in 2 parts divided by a fan to sink heat. Every part has 17 leds of high efficiency and intensity; they represent the best in the current design, the same as follow:
- 4 x Cree XP-G Cool White LEDS run at 5 W each
- 4 x Cree XP-E Blue LEDS run at 3 W each.
- 5 x Cree XP-E Royal Blue LEDS run at 3 W each.
- 2 x Cree XP-E Green LEDS run at 3 W each.
- 2 x Osram Oslon SSL Hyper Red LEDS run at 3 W each.
Leds are chosen to have a wide light spread that is fully adjustable thanks to a software that communicates wirelessly.
Infact the Radion comes equipped with RF module that will send informations wirelessly with other enabled Ecotech devices, allowing the coordination and the integration with Vortech pumps too. It’s possible to synchronize light and water to simulate the night calm, the storms and other climatic events.
It’s very important the Battery Backup that decreases the energetic consuming by using the software. The Radion, when used with a Battery Backup emits low levels of light to assure the essential oxygenation intended to prevent damages on corals or fish during the critical time period of a power outage.
The Radion results nice and elegant, rich of technology, all the features that contribute to place it in the upper class of lighting. We can’t expect something different.
