OceanLife made its debut at the first edition of AcquariaItalia with a stand that was undoubtedly one of the most refined and eye-catching of the entire event. With a clean, minimal design, it also offered a special treat for Early Entrance ticket holders, who were entitled to receive a free Acquatic LAB ICP test, either for Freshwater or Marine Water.

OceanLife is a well-established company that needs no introduction. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, it boasts international collaborations with coral farms and research centers focused on coral care, reproduction, and reef restoration.
You can read more about one of these projects in our previous article: Coral Vita ristabilisce i coralli in natura: scopriamo come aiutarli.
They currently operate in several locations, including two in the Bahamas—one with Coral Vita and another on the MSC island—as well as in Saudi Arabia, where they are building two coral farms. One of them will be the largest in the world, featuring an astounding 400 tanks, each with a capacity of over 2000 liters.
Returning to the ICP opportunity offered at AcquariaItalia 2025: thanks to their in-house laboratory—currently the only one of its kind in Italy—OceanLife is able to provide both highly professional water testing services and top-tier aquarium products.

OceanLife Products: Research, Precision, and Performance
OceanLife handles the entire production cycle, from formulation to raw material selection, all the way to the finished product. Many leading brands rely on their expertise and manufacturing standards.
Their wide range of bacterial products helps maintain a stable biological balance, while supplements and corrective additives ensure a healthy chemical environment for coral growth.

They also offer organic and inorganic additives to maintain ideal C:N:P ratios as well as proper nitrate and phosphate levels. Naturally, their OceanLife Nutritional System provides complete nutrition for both corals and fish to thrive.
The Spectacular Circular Display Tank

One of the most talked-about elements of their booth was the circular display tank, an idea by Luca that drew great attention from visitors.
OceanLife has been crafting custom aquariums by hand for many years, with tailored dimensions and features. Installations are available either directly or through selected partners, even in prestigious or historically significant locations.
The New OceanLife Corals Farm
OceanLife has recently launched a new coral farm at its Bologna headquarters, dedicated exclusively to industry professionals. Named OceanLife Corals, this state-of-the-art facility is designed to provide the ideal environment for coral growth and acclimation, reinforcing the company’s position as a leader in the Italian reefkeeping scene.
Although official details about the greenhouse are still limited online, the initiative reflects OceanLife’s strong commitment to innovation and quality in coral care. The greenhouse will offer professionals access to healthy, tank-raised corals, cultivated under controlled conditions—ensuring excellent vitality and adaptation.
Luca and Simone confirmed that we’ll soon have more information and will even be able to show you the facilitythrough our upcoming exclusive coverage.
In the meantime, take a closer look at one of the first corals arriving straight from the new greenhouse, showcased in their fascinating aquarium—one that truly captured our imagination.
