Vivarium 2025 in the Netherlands – Aquarium-Only Show Next Weekend

Vivarium 2025 will take place next weekend, November 8–9, at the Autotron in Rosmalen, The Netherlands. It is one of the few European trade shows entirely dedicated to the world of freshwater and marine aquariums.

Vivarium has been growing in popularity year after year, with a perfect balance between Aquascaping—including live contests and workshops—and the MACE area, the Marine Aquarium Conference of Europe. We have attended the last two editions, helping to increase the event’s visibility in Italy. It’s a spectacular fair, full of energy, inspiration, and stories worth sharing.

The exhibition was first held in 2008 and was planned as an annual event—although the 2020 and 2021 editions were cancelled due to COVID. We can say that this is the sixth edition of the modern era, and the expectations are higher than ever. Nearly 190 exhibitors, new floor space, conferences (finally back!), workshops, and live contests are all set to make this one of the biggest aquarium events in Europe.

Given our long-standing support in promoting this fantastic event, we couldn’t miss it again this year. Federico and I, joined by our special guest Franky’s Frags, will fly to the Netherlands to cover the show and bring you another of our signature video reportages.

Aquarium Exhibitors at Vivarium 2025

This year, there are an impressive 186 aquarium-related exhibitors—far more than last year’s 134—including many coral farms and retailers. Below you’ll find an interactive table built from the official Vivarium 2025 exhibitor list. You can search by company name, category (freshwater, marine, terrarium, paludarium), or country. Note that some “freshwater” exhibitors operate in both the freshwater and marine sectors.

As you can see, the list is huge—almost comparable to Interzoo in Nuremberg. Plus, Vivarium includes live conferences, which are still rare at most aquarium fairs. The more I visit this event, the more I appreciate it. The only challenge is having just seven hours to see everything—it’s going to be a real marathon!

The number of Italian companies has grown steadily over the past three years. This year we’ll visit the booths of BEA Bio Engineering Aquaculture, Bucephilia, Elos, GNC, GreenVet, Linfa, Prodac and Sicce—eight Italian brands showcasing in the Netherlands. A clear sign of Vivarium’s relevance and the strength of the Italian aquarium industry abroad.
