Marsa Murein is a very attractive lagoon near Marsa Alam International Airport, Red Sea, Egypt.
This was the last diving for the 2009, and organized by SeaWorld diving, and we, as you can bet, went to diving with them, and if you hear me… it’s worth a while!
To begin some pictures about this beautiful lagoon

Here we did two diving, one in left part and one in the right part, in my personal opinion the second one was more beautiful.
Technical data of first dive:
Maximum depth: 21,3 meters
Minimum Temperature: 28°C
Dive time: 40 minutes
Diving: SeaWorld
Divemaster: Andrea Pusceddu

A wonderful Montipora sp…

A great Acropora sp… we can see hes polyps and obviously a great health…

Another Montipora with Acropora around it. It’s possible to see some colours because we are clore enough for my flash, but we are 20 meters depth…

As we are not so close to corals it’s impossibile to have the right colours, my flash was too tiny, but this coral was very huge (in the reality world it was almost dark red…) .

20 meters and a very particular sponge

Purple Acropora, and it’s growing up! 20 meters… don’t forget

Yellow/green Acropora

Sarcophyton

A couple of Heniochus intermedius

Acropora was so huge there… 🙂

I love Tridacna (here you can see the maxima variety)

Taeniura limma
Technical data of first dive:
Maximum depth: 23 meters
Minimum Temperature: 28°C
Dive time: 38 minutes
Diving: SeaWorld
Divemaster: Andrea Pusceddu

Fire corals with a few Pseudoanthias squamipinnis over it

A great looking macro about Fistularia commersonii

Pseudoanthias squamipinnis over Xenia.

What wonderful seascape at 20 meters…

A few juveniles Chromis viridis over their Acropora, you can discover some Chromis inside the corals too

Here we was in the bottom of our diving, where I could take this shot of Platax orbicularis

A family of Red Sea clownfishes (Ampiphrion bicinctus) inside their home… with 2 babues…

Another huge Acropora, not so beautiful his colours… but wow… (!)

Wonderful 🙂

And last for this year… the lionfish (pterois volitans)
