There is always a first time. And when that first time means being officially invited on radio and TV, the emotion becomes even stronger. I was a guest on Storytime Bologna, in the studios of Radio Canale Italia, to talk about the story of DaniReef and, above all, my lifelong passion for aquariums.
A different kind of experience: not behind the keyboard or the camera, but in front of microphones and video cameras, with the chance to explain to a wider audience what it means to live aquarium keeping every day.
My Interview
In the interview I retraced the birth of DaniReef in 2007, the long journey of these years, and the desire to share a world that continues to inspire and amaze me.
We talked about spectacular reports – such as the one made in New York at the Polo Reef, a 70,000-liter home aquarium that looks like a real coral reef – and about my experience covering the most important aquarium fairs in Italy and worldwide.
Of course, I also talked about AcquariaItalia, the aquarium fair we organized for the first time in April 2025 and which will return to Milan in September with an even bigger second edition.
Emotion and Passion
During the conversation I wanted to highlight what drives every article, every photo, and every video on DaniReef: passion. Aquarium keeping is not only about technology, equipment or products, but also about letting yourself be carried away by a unique ecosystem, falling in love with fish, corals and plants, and wanting to share this beauty with as many people as possible.
Being a guest at Storytime was an important recognition for me and for all the collaborators who have made this journey possible over the years.
