Partecipazione al Primo MagnaModena – The first MagnaModena

Domenica 8 febbraio si è tenuto il primo Magna Modena, nome di chiare origini MagnaRomagnole 
Grazie alla passione dell’amico Argobax che ha organizzato il pranzo a Bastiglia in provincia di Modena in collaborazione con il ristorante Vitamina Cafè e con Elos.
La giornata è stata estremamente piacevole ed interessante.
Per prima cosa io e la banda residua del Magna Romagna, e cioè Lumaz e Zanna Bianca siamo stati la mattina presto a casa di Matteo Benassi a vedere la sua splendida vasca, come potete vedere cliccando qua: La nuova (grande) vasca di Matteo Benassi.
Poi siamo andati a Bastiglia, dove ci siamo incontrati con tutti gli altri, e dove abbiamo lautamente pranzato al ristorante Vitamina Cafè. Antipasti misti, riso alle pere, pasta al ragù di salsiccia, grigliata mista, e dolce finale, a parte la mia dieta, un ottimo pranzo!
Nel pomeriggio c’è stata una interessantissima presentazione sulla luce, curata da Nicola Gandini, in cui ha cercato di spiegarci cosa sia importante per i coralli e ci ha dato delle indicazioni sulla luce che lui ritiene più opportuno utilizzare in acquario. La discussione è molto interessante, la trovate qua: L’importanza della luce in acquario e merita sicuramente un approfondimento.
Poi siamo stati a vedere un’altra splendida vasca, la vasca di Lucasabao moderatore di Reef Italia le cui foto potete vederle qua: La vasca di Luca Girlando “Lucasabao“. Una vasca splendida, ancora giovane ma che crescerà sicuramente bene, certo non gli manca la luce .
Ed alla fine siamo tornati al Vitamina Cafè dove grazie agli strumenti portati e messi a disposizione da Elos, abbiamo potuto comparare la potenza luminosa di varie lampade a confronto, misurando emissione in PAR e Lumen su lumenarc III con lampadina da 400w BLV, E-power con lampadina Elos da 250w, E-lite, e lampada a neon PL, i risultati sono stati molto interessanti e potete leggerli qua: Misurazioni sulla luce.

Thanks to the passion of Argobax who organized the lunch at Bastiglia (Mo) in collaboration with the restaurant Vitamina Cafè and Elos.
The day was very pleasant and interesting.
At the beginning of the day me and the band of Magna Romagna, Lumaz and Zanna Bianca, we went at the home of Matteo Benassi to see his wonderful tank, as you can see by clicking here: The new (large) tank of Matteo Benassi .
Then we went to Bastiglia, where we met with all the others, and where we lunched at a restaurant Vitamina Cafè. Mixed, rice pears, pasta with ragu of sausage, barbecue joint, and sweet finish, apart from my diet, a good lunch!
In the afternoon there was an interesting presentation on the light, by Nicola Gandini, in which he tried to explain what is the light important for the corals and gave us indications about light he considers most appropriate to use in aquarium. The discussion was very interesting and you can find here: The importance of light in the aquarium, and certainly deserves further evaluation.
Then we went to see another beautiful tank, the pool of Lucasabao moderator of Reef Italia whose photos you can see here: The tank of Luca Girlando “Lucasabao”. A beautiful tank, still young but surely that will grow well, certainly not lack the light .
And in the end we returned to the Vitamina Cafè where, thanks to the tools carried and made available by Elos, we were able to compare the light output of various lamps compared by measuring emission at Lumen and PAR: lumenarc III with 400w light bulb from BLV, E-power with light from Elos 250w, E-lite, and a neon lamp PL, the results were very interesting and you can read here: Measurements on the light.
