Conclusions
We really liked the Tunze Turbelle NanoStream 6045. We found that it has a very good efficiency on a technical level with 643 litres per watt and economical level with 63 litres per euro. Its functioning in the tank is perfect, without any faults, always considering that is a constant flow pump. The pump is noiseless and with limited power consumption that corresponds to what Tunze declares, which is not always the case.
A pair of 6045 is sufficient for a SPS marine tank of 225 liters, resulting in a water flow 20 times the volume of the tank. They are even better when used in a 150 liters tank, with 30 times the volume in flow. You can also use them for tanks up to 450 liters in volume with LPS corals.
Considering the limited amount of space taken in the tank, the noiseless functioning and gentle flow, together with a very convenient price of 71,50 euros, this is a pump that we highly recommend.
