Elos NS500 skimmer is out of production

The Elos has today announced the end of production of one of its symbols, that skimmer has been for years one of his warhorses. The Natural Skimmer NS500, a skimmer that I have not personally had in my tank, but I can only speak well to have seen it in many different aquariums.

An extremely versatile skimmer that over the years, ever since it was conceived, it was possible to upgrade to its latest incarnation with new injector, with new outlet, but essentially it’s always been the same great skimmer.

Lo schiumatoio Elos NS500 è uscito di produzione

La Elos ha annunciato proprio oggi l’uscita dal mercato di uno dei suoi simboli, quello schiumatoio che è stato per anni uno dei suoi cavalli di battaglia. Il Natural Skimmer NS500, uno schiumatoio che non ho avuto personalmente nella mia vasca, ma di cui posso solo parlare bene per averlo visto funzionare in tantissime vasche diverse.

Uno schiumatoio estremamente versatile che nel corso degli anni, sin da quando è stato concepito, è stato possibile aggiornare alla sua ultima incarnazione, con nuovo iniettore, con nuovo scarico, ma essenzialmente è sempre stato lo stesso schiumatoio.

Elos declared the temporary unavailability of Elos Terra Small substrate

Elos has issued a statement about the temporary unavailability of Elos Terra Small, very much used for the construction of substrates in freshwater planted aquariums.

As you all know ELOS Terra is a Natural product that is found in nature, sterilized and then enriched with micro and macro elements that enhance its characteristics. It is then sieved by Elos in order to get two sizes: Small and Medium.

Unfortunately, it is now about a year that the raw material coming from nature presents an almost constant grain size, which allows us to select a very limited amount of fine-grained (Terra SMALL).

For this reason, Elos is compelled to temporarily suspend the sale of Terra SMALL.

In the meanwhile Elos suggests alternatively to use the new TERRA Black that features similar organic/chemical characteristic and have a fine grain size, very close to the ELOS Terra Small.

Elos annuncia l’indisponibilità del prodotto Terra Small

Elos ha diramato un comunicato in merito alla indisponibilità momentanea del prodotto Elos Terra Small, utilizzato tantissimo per la costruzione dei substrati negli acquari di acqua dolce piantumati.

Come tutti sapete ELOS Terra è un prodotto estratto in natura che viene setacciato direttamente da Elos in due granulometrie, sterilizzato e quindi addizionato di micro e macro elementi che ne esaltano le caratteristiche.

Purtroppo, è oramai da circa un anno che il materiale in possesso di Elos presenta una granulometria pressoché costante che consente di selezionare un quantitativo molto limitato di granulometria fine.
Per questo motivo, sino a data da definire, la Elos è costretta a sospendere la commercializzazione della granulometria fine.

Elos però suggerisce ai propri clienti di utilizzare in alternativa la nuova Terra Black che ha caratteristiche organico/chimiche similari e presenta una granulometria più fine, molto vicina alla Terra Small.

For this first test we wanted to focus only on using the Elos Evision LedDimmerBox and the Elos Tempo and using them on Elos EliteXP Color so to better understand not only the dimming performance but also the  power of mixing the various channels.

Abbiamo avuto dalla Elos in anteprima il nuovissimo sistema E-Vision che abbiamo prontamente provato, un sistema bellissimo ed accattivante nella sua versione con touch control, ma estremamente semplice e versatile nella sua versione basata anche solo su Elos Tempo e LedDimmerBox.

Per questa prima prova abbiamo voluto focalizzarci solo sull’utilizzo dell‘Elos Evision Tempo e dell’Elos Evision LedDimmerBox utilizzandoli su una plafoniera Elos EliteXP Color per così meglio capire le prestazioni non solo della dimmerazione ma anche della miscelazione dei vari canali.

Elos presents his new web site totally revisited

The Elos has presented late last night its new Web site, reached at the same address www.eloseurope.com but totally renovated in the style and content.

The new site, in the tradition of the Italian company, aims style and content easily accessible to all, has yet to be completed probably in some detail, but besides being far more attractive than the old site is now possible to download new items from the Library Elos , and after a quick exchange of ideas with the owner of Elos Nicola Gandini we learned that can accommodate material created by users, and we also have known that the site will host some articles written by famous aquarium hobbyists, and the news is certainly not finished here!

Elos presenta il suo nuovo sito web completamente rinnovato

La Elos ha presentato ieri sera in tarda serata il suo nuovo sito web, raggiungibile sempre allo stesso indirizzo www.eloseurope.com ma completamente rinnovato sia nello stile che nei contenuti.

Il nuovo sito, come da tradizione della azienda italiana punta sullo stile e sui contenuti facilmente fruibili a tutti, deve ancora essere completato in qualche dettaglio probabilmente, ma oltre ad essere molto più accattivante del vecchio sito è ora possibile scaricare elementi dalla nuova Elos Library, che dopo un veloce scambio di idee con il proprietario della Elos Nicola Gandini abbiamo saputo che potrà accogliere anche materiale creato dagli utenti, ed abbiamo anche saputo in anteprima che il sito ospiterà famosi acquariofili che parleranno di acquari, e le novità non sono certamente finite qua!
