Abu Dabbab is probably the most beautiful bay of Marsa Alam, Red Sea, which has recently also become a protected natural park by the Egyptian government. So it is obligatory to pay a fee to visit this beautiful lagoon.
As you can see in the picture by satellite, which you can click to go to Google Maps, the lagoon is huge, with very fine sand. On the right stands the hotel complex Sol Y Mar Abu Dabbab. The Reef to visit are placed on two sides of the lagoon, both starting from the shore, the left reef is the most attractive (or at least so say the guides) and is probably the finest of Marsa Alam, from what I saw .

Abu Dabbab è probabilmente la più bella baia di Marsa Alam, sul Mar Rosso, che da poco è diventata anche parco naturale protetto dal governo egiziano. Per questo è obbligatorio pagare una tassa per andare a visitare questa splendida laguna.
Come potete vedere nella fotografia da satellite, che potete cliccare per andare su google maps, la laguna è enorme, con sabbia molto fina. Sulla destra sorge il complesso alberghiero Sol Y Mar di Abu Dabbab. Le barriere da visitare sono due, ai lati della laguna, entrambe con partenza da riva, la barriera di sinistra è quella più appetibile (o perlomeno così dicono le guide) ed è sicuramente la più bella di Marsa Alam, per quello che ho visto io.

Finalmente ricominciamo con le cene del MAGNAROMAGNA!
L’incontro è quindi rivolto a tutti gli acquariofili che si trovino a transitare dalle parti di Rimini e vogliano passare una serata a base di Pizza & Acquari…, a tutti quanti siano già intervenuti in passato ed a tutti i nuovi amici, a tutto Acquaportal ed a tutto Reef Italia!
La Cena è fissata per venerdì 16 ottobre nel ristorante storico di questo cosidetto club, il mitico ZODIACO di Rimini: http://www.lo-zodiaco.com/ dove tutto incominciò due anni fa, e che è da dicembre che non visitiamo! Ci vedremo dalle 20 circa, ma se qualcuno prima volesse venire a vedere la mia vasca vuota… siete come al solito i benvenuti
La lista degli ospiti è lunga, e ci saranno anche nuovi ospiti mai intervenuti prima…

Abbiamo fatto due immersioni, la prima sulla barriera di sinistra e la seconda su quella di destra, entrambe le immersioni sono molto semplici e si parte da riva.

Here we are, finally, to make a complete review of our trip to Egypt!
We choose again Holiday Beach Resort which I had already talked extensively last year, but this year we had a reason to return to this resort, the presence of the diving we had only known last year and that we have used extensively this year.
So we have to begin with an evocative picture of the sparkling sea which we have found in Marsa Alam … a beautiful paradise… again!
