Recentemente sono stato a vedere la splendida vasca di Paolo, vasca talmente splendida che è stata scelta come vasca del mese di Acquaportal. La vasca è oltremodo splendida e gli animali ospitati sono tutti di livello eccelso. I pesci sono favolosi, e le foto bhe… assolutamente strepitose ed infatti mi attendo numerosi commenti in questo senso. Alcune info tecniche sulla vasca parlano di un’acquario fatto su misura dalla Elos in 15mm dalle misure di 135x85x55h, con la parte tecnica composta da uno schiumatoio LGMs900, reattore di calcio artigianale e 2 Diamond Lumenarc III con 2 lampadine da 250w HQi e 2 neon T5, anche se Paolo dopo questo bellissimo servizio ha deciso di sostituire l’illuminazione con una plafoniera T5 ancora più potente di quello che aveva prima. Vi lascio alle foto di questa magnifica vasca, e mi scuso fin da ora per il fatto che ce ne sono veramente tantissime, perché non ho saputo scegliere cosa eliminare… e poi visto che si tratta di un backstage…

I recently went to see the wonderful tank of Paolo, so beautiful tank that has been chosen as the Acquaportal tank of the month. The tank is very beautiful as all the animals. The fishes are fabulous, and the pictures … well, absolutely great:) and in fact I expect many comments in this regard.

Some technical info about the tank: build from Elos in 15mm measures 135x85x55h, with technical part consists of skimmer LGMs900, self made (but not from him) calcium reactor and two Diamond Lumenarc III with 2 bulbs 250W HQI and 2 neon T5, although Paul later this wonderful service has decided to replace the lights with T5 system even more powerful than it had before.

Magna Romagna, Cena a Rimini venerdì 24 aprile; Dinner in Rimini

Altra cena in programma con il bellissimo gruppo MAGNA ROMAGNA questa volta ci si vede a Rimini presso il Ristorante il BUON GUSTAIO in viale regina margherita 57, grosso modo davanti al bagno 97 a bellariva

Non ci sono foto ancora… ma le metteremo noi!!!

Nel pomeriggio poi io e l’amico Zanna Bianca saremo a Bologna, se qualcuno volesse bere un caffè con noi non deve far altro che scriverlo sotto.

Come tutti gli inverni anche quest’anno sono stato a sciare in montagna in occasione delle feste natalizie. Certo il mio post è vagamente in ritardo, ma siccome credo di aver fatto delle belle foto e siccome il posto è oltremodo splendido mi sembrava interessante scriverci almeno due righe., in ogni caso il ritardo è anche imputato al fatto di aver dovuto convertire le oltre 600 foto fatte, di cui quelle che mostro sono solo una piccola parte.

Per la prima volta abbiamo abbandonato le amate nevi di Canazei per dirigersi verso la Francia, per la precisione in Val Thorens.

Like every winters, also this year I spent my christmas holiday on mountain to ski. Of course this post is slightly late, but since I think I take some beautiful pictures and as the place is very beautiful, I thought to write something about. In any case the delay was also attributed to the fact that I had to convert more than 600 photos taken, of which these are only a small part.

For the first time we have left the beloved snows of Canazei to head to France, specifically in Val Thorens.

La vasca di Enzo Romeo – The tank of

Ormai un mese fa ho già fotografato il Rhizotrochus typus per il quale ho fatto un post apposito, ma nella stessa occasione ho avuto modo di fotografare anche la bellissima vasca in cui era ospitato. Una vasca dalle proporzioni oserei dire perfette, che se potessi avrei già inserito nel mio soggiorno, 120x80x50, abbastanza per avere 3 acquari in uno, a seconda del vetro da cui la si guarda.

La vasca è invero un po’ particolare, rispetto alle vasche di soli coralli duri questa ospita anche tanti LPS, in un layout particolare digradante con tanto spazio per il nuoto. Anche i pesci si incentrano soprattutto su un branchetto numeroso di Apogon cyanosoma, pesci cardinali che nuotano in gruppo ed a scatti.

Almost a month ago I photographed the Rhizotrochus typus for which I have made a separate post, but at the same time I was able to photograph the beautiful tank in which it was housed. A tank I would say perfect, that if I could I would have already put in my living room, 120x80x50, enough to make 3 aquarium in the same tank, depending on the face where you look.

The tank is really ‘particular, in relation to the same tank with hard corals this is also home to many LPS, in a particular layout that lives plenty of room for swimming. Even the fish are focused mainly on a large group of Apogon cyanosoma, cardinal fish that swim in groups.

On April 3, OCEANOmare event was held at the Palazzo del Turismo of Riccione, as mentioned here: Danilo Ronchi & OCEANOmare.

For the first time I exposed my photos and the emotion was great.

Thanks then to all the friends of Polisportiva Sub Riccione for the opportunity I was given, and I must say that the pictures with the dolphins (Stenella) liked so much.

Apart that the evening was fabulous, and we watched films absolutely wonderful and I must give my best compliments to the authors for their quality.

Dopo un mese dall’inserimento del reattore di calcio con ARM nuova di zecca ho fatto un giro di test, questi sono i risultati

Venerdì 13 marzo c’è stata una cena del Magna Romagna che per la prima volta si è tenuta a Riolo Terme presso il ristorante Villa Golini, e la scelta si è dimostrata vincente, abbiamo mangiato bene, molto bene spendendo sicuramente il giusto, il ristorante non posso che consigliarvelo.

Per la prima volta hanno partecipato Paolo Marzocchi (a cui vanno i complimenti per la meravigliosa vasca), Zack78, Zazà1984, Deta del negozio Oriens ed Enzo del negozio Hobby Acquari.

E sono personalmente molto contento che anche i negozianti facciano parte di questo nostro godereccio gruppo, perché penso che il confronto appassionati-negozianti, posso solo fare crescere l’acquariofilia in Italia.

Come per gli anni precedenti, grazie alla collaborazione con l’associazione culturale RLUNG-TA, è stata organizzata una serata dedicata alla conoscenza dei mari del mondo attraverso la visione di filmati subacquei realizzati da videoperatori di fama internazionale. In questa edizione, in particolare, sarà possibile visionare i filmati che hanno vinto la palma d’oro e la palma d’argento al Concorso Internazionale Antibes 2008. Questi i protagonisti della serata:

• Daniele Iop con il video “The Pier” (palma d’oro al Festival di Antibes 2008)
• Gian Melchiorri con il video “La nostra emozionante avventura” (premio documentario storico al Festival di Antibes 2008)
• Alberto Penna con il video “Together, vivere insieme” (palma d’argento al Festival di Antibes 2006)
• Gian Maria Mazza con il video “Manta Ray, il riposo dei giganti” (palma d’oro del pubblico al Festival di Antibes 2008)

Durante la serata sarà, inoltre,  possibile visionare una mostra fotografica realizzata da fotografi “non professionisti”, dove ci saranno anche cinque mie foto

Come per le scorse edizioni, anche quest’anno la manifestazione ha lo scopo di raccogliere fondi che verranno devoluti alla Deepshikha High School di Katmandu, un istituto nepalese che opera per tutelare  i bambini  orfani o che vivono in strada dando loro un’istruzione e tutte le cure necessarie.

This evening will be held the third edition of the event OCEANOmare.

As in previous years, thanks to the cooperation with the cultural association RLUNG-TA, was organized an evening dedicated to the knowledge of the seas of the world through the vision of movies made by divers of an international reputation. In this edition, in particular, you can watch movies that have won the Golden Palm and the Silver Palm at the International Antibes 2008. These are the protagonists of the evening:

* Daniele Iop with the video “The Pier” (Golden Palm at the Festival of Antibes in 2008)
* Gian Melchiorri with the video “Our exciting adventure” (historical documentary prize at the Festival of Antibes in 2008)

As with previous editions, this year the event aims to raise funds that will be devolved to Deepshikha High School in Kathmandu, a Nepalese organization that works to protect children orphaned or living on the streets by giving them an education and all treatment.
